First time in Luxembourg and looking for the best brunch spot? Make a stop at Mu Luxembourg! Reopened in September 2022, the restaurant prides itself on the influencers' community and features trendy aesthetics plus a panoramic view of the city of Luxembourg.
Mu Luxembourg is located on the top floor of the Hotel Sofitel Luxembourg Grand Ducal. This hotel has been rated as one of the best luxury hotels in Luxembourg, featuring a sauna, a golf course, Sunday Trendy brunch and fun nightlife. With walking distance from most of the major scenic spots in the city, you can easily tour around the historic city center after dining at the Mu Luxembourg. As a first-time visitor to Luxembourg, I couldn’t think of any better way to spend the only Sunday during my visit. We started our day with their Sunday Trendy Brunch. The dining area overlooks the Petrusse Valley and the historic heart of the city of Luxembourg. As a big brunch person, I have visited over 100+ brunch places in NYC, but none of them could beat this! With less than $50 per person, we were offered a wide selection of savory options, salads, small bites, pastries, fruits, cute desserts, coffee, fresh juice, PLUS bottomless mimosa!
I was extremely excited to find that during our visit, Mu was actually debuting their “chic Sunday brunch edition”, where they partnered with Vogue!! All the small bites, especially the dessert section, elegantly matched their “chic and fashion” theme, and we were also able to view several couture displays around the dining room. All the food I tried were heavenly bites, and I was particularly impressed by their martini poke (it’s basically a poke-style sashimi salad with avocado and mango served in a huge martini glass) and all the fashionably crafted desserts. I wish I could bring that macaron heel and chocolate Louis Vuitton home <3
All the staff I met there were super friendly. They constantly came to our table to check in and the drinks were regularly being offered during our 2-hr visit - I personally had 2 glasses of fresh grapefruit juice, a latte plus a few glasses of mimosa!
Since Mu's partnership with Vogue was a big thing in the city, we saw several local influencers dining (and photo shooting for Vogue magazine) around us on the day we went, but the restaurant made sure none of the other guests were affected/bothered. The overall experience was beyond amazing and I would definitely visit Luxembourg again just for the Trendy Sunday Brunch at Mu Luxembourg!!
Mu’s “Sunday Trendy Brunch” is offered weekly on Sundays, from 12pm-2pm, so make sure you call/email them in advance to secure a spot.
In addition to their Sunday brunch, Mu Luxembourg is also one of the top-rated fine dining -style places in the city, so if you’re in town and looking for a nice place for a fancy dinner, give Mu Luxembourg a shot!
